My name is Carmen González García, I have a degree in tourism and am an official accredited tourist guide by the Junta de Andalucía. I have been working in the tourism sector for over six years, organising cultural visits to learn the endless heritage of my city, Seville, of which I declare myself to be totally in love. 

Working as a tourist guide combined with my passion for history has led me to understand how important it is for the visitor not only to see Seville; but also, to get to know it and understand its essence, as well as the great responsibility I have in this pursuit. My experience as a guide has allowed me to introduce my city to travellers from many parts of the world. It has helped me realise that a visit to the same monument changes considerably depending on the curiosities of the group and how important it is to adapt to the visitor’s interests.
