Private tour

Seville is a city full of treasures and many of them can be found in the Cathedral of Santa María de la Sede: such as the tomb of Christopher Columbus, the largest altarpiece in Christendom, the tomb of the Holy King, famous paintings by Murillo or Goya and of course one of the main symbols of Seville, the Giralda.
The construction of the Cathedral began at the start of the 15th century, reusing the space previously occupied by the Muslim Mosque of the 12th century. Some of the remains still visible in the Patio de los Naranjos (old ablutions courtyard) and the bell tower of the temple (old minaret that was used to call to prayer) from which we will have the opportunity to climb to one of the best panoramic views that Seville has to offer, at almost 100 metres high!
Today the Cathedral of Seville is the largest Gothic temple in the world, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a monument you must visit if you are a lover of architecture or art in general. On our tour we will explore the different artistic styles that the church has; from the old mosque, the French Gothic of the early years of its construction, the Renaissance style of the Royal Chapel or the old sacristy and of course the baroque style so characteristic of the Catholic world.
